LUNCH ACCOUNT INFORMATION
Just a reminder to all parents to be aware of your childs lunch account balance. While we realize that occasionally that a parent may forget to send lunch money when needed, balances cannot continue to build. Jr/Sr High school students MUST have money in their account to purchase a lunch (we will allow up to 3 charges). Intermediate school students also must have money in their account to purchase a lunch. If account balances build to a serious level, an alternate lunch MAY be provided. Balance notices are sent home on a frequent basis for accounts that have a negative balance.
Free/Reduced lunch applications were sent home on the first day of school and need to be returned COMPLETELY filled out to qualify for benefits. If you didn't receive one, copies are available in each school office.
If you have questions about lunch accounts, please feel free to call the building managers for detailed information.
CHANGES IN THE JR/SR HIGH SCHOOL
Many exciting changes will be seen at the high school cafeteria as students return for the new year. As a result of the many new government regulations, the ala carte room has been changed into a new dining option for students and guests. This year, there will be three separate dining options including Pizza and More....featuring Pizza Hut and Papa Johns pizza on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and gourmet sandwich choices on Tuesday and Thursday. The second dining option is International Favorites which will feature a variety of foods from around the globe including Pasta Primavera and Smothered Burritos. The third line is Panther Classics which will feature a selection of student favorite entre choices. Chef salads will be offered in all three locations. A limited selection of ala carte items will also be available in each dining location.
